August Sewing Progress

There has not been a lot of sewing lately, but a few things have been accomplished.

I am doing another row quilt with some local friends.  My theme is, "Summer in a Small Town".  For my row the following town buildings have been built:  Church, Quilt Shop, Bake Shop, Dress Shop, and a house.

I have made a small start on my friend Angie's row quilt.  She is asking for houses.  Her blocks were all made from Lori Holt fabrics, so I am using ones from my stash.  I am trying to make a little row of houses that are scaled down quite small.  That is easy to do with paper piecing.  You can see the one little house I built next to a much larger fish block.  It really shows how small that house block is.

Two of my grand children chose to be baptized, and I was asked to make them each a scripture bag.
