Happy Spring!
My #2 project was to find the color in my fabric stash with the most fabric and make a quilt using that color. After enjoying the trip through my collection of fabric 😍 I discovered that color was orange!
Most of my quilts I donate to Project Linus https://www.projectlinus.org so I looked around for a kids print in my stash to go with the orange and found these dinosaurs! I love dinosaur fabric. Plus I usually try to make quilts for boys.
Then finding a pattern from my favorite pattern shop Villa Rosa! https://villarosadesigns.com I chose Monterey!
And here is the final top!
Out of respect for the pattern designer, I won't show the steps but for those of you with an eagle eye, I did adjust the sewing technique a wee bit so the dinosaurs would be all one piece.
I'm not sure if I'll get it quilted by the end of March. I have a few others already in the queue.
Happy sewing!
Kristi

Well done Kristi. A great use of your orange fabrics and the dinosaurs are the perfect match. I like the way you were able to keep the dinosaurs as a larger block. Some boy will love it.
