May Chookshed Challenge is #5

Yay!  May is here and with it comes #5.  My Number 5 is the paper pieced Kiwi Birds for my Aussie/NZ memory quilt.  Many in the group actually chose to do something Kiwi (New Zealand) inspired for their #5.  I am anxious to see what shows up for everyone's projects this month.

I first saw them on zoom being modeled by Louise.  Thank you!

I have other goals for May as well.  The kiwi birds will be my One Monthly Goal because doubling up those challenges just makes sense.  I will also make a block for all of my blocks of the month:

  • Fishy Business RSC
  • Let's Bake
  • $ Building Blocks (4 blocks)
  • Life's Little Pieces Swap (4 blocks)
  • Vesta row 2 (5 blocks)
So, what is your number 5?  We would love for you to make a post and link up to tell us about it!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

So let's review our April challenge progress as a whole group.  I will continue to update this project list as blog posts come in.

  5. I had been out of the country for the past couple of weeks and little sewing got done for the month. BUT I did complete one, just one Morrell block. I have 3 cousins from Poland arrving at the farm on Sat for 2 weeks. I do need to get a blog post up soon, but I have a special mission tomorrow. I found someone to hand quilt my Cherries Quilt.
