A flimsy that has been waiting for 16 years!

Sliced Snow Globe is a Flimsy!  I am more excited about this quilt than any one I have done in some time.  Those houses took me forever and motivation to do them was slow.  I am tucking it away until next year to quilt.

I also cut out the bees that will go with my flowers.  Trust me,  They look pretty cute with eyes and a smile as shown in the pattern book.  I will be doing a quilt retreat next weekend where we will work on these.

  5. Do you have to put it away til next year? It would be so much fun to see it finished. I understand 16 year old UFOs. Let's just say I'm working on one older than that -- every once and a while.

  6. The colors, luminosity and craftsmanship on this is absolutely breathtaking. Maybe 16 is the magical number, I must admit, though, I do not know what a flimsy is...

  11. I love the snow globe quilt and I love the chickens in the garden. It is amazing how much you have finished this year. Is the Chicks in the garden a commercial pattern? where did you get it? Did I mention I love it? LOL
