I am still plugging along with the same projects. I spent all day Saturday sewing, but it just doesn't look like I did all that much.
I cut these pieces for flower blocks into fat quarter sizes and layered them ready to cut for my three Buggy Barn quilts.
I also added trees to one section of Felicity's quilt.
Oh yea! I got the ears on my reindeer. Those took more time than I thought, but they really add character to my deer.
Today I link up with:
Show off Saturday @ She Can Sew
BOMs Away @ Lynette's What a Hoot Quilts
UFO Busting @ Tish's Adventures
WIP link up @ Silly Mamas
MCM @ Beth's Cooking up Quilts
My To Do list for this week: finish piecing the reindeer blocks and finish quilting the Woodsy quilt.
To Do Tuesday @ Silly Mama Quilts
I did have to piece a few together to get them into fat quarter shape.

Oh deer.. what cute ears you have.. Any work is good work..
ReplyDeleteSuper cute reindeer :) What a smart idea to piece fabric into a fat quarter instead of fiddling with cutting that one's pieces on the side after doing the rest of the batch in bulk.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are making lots of progress on your projects. Love the idea of piecing the fabric together to get FQ size chunks. And I love the texture that the trees give that section of the quilt. The reindeer is adorable. I bet all those tiny sections take a little while to piece. Can't wait to see the progress you make this week on your projects.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh -- those little reindeer ears are ADORABLE!! And I love the trees in the borders. I think you got plenty accomplished!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love all of the projects! And that deer... I am just so in love with how cute that is! Thank you so much for linking up with To-Do Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteThree-dimensional deer ears? Cool!
ReplyDeleteI always love those Buggy Barn quilts. The antlers do add a lot of character to the Mr. Reindeer.
