Deana: Slow Progress

I am still here.  I am treading water, but still breathing.

Since my last post, I ran off for a little retreat with my mom and sisters.  They finished my daughter's quilt top - yay!  IT is so gorgeous!  I sewed very little on this baby but I did pin and organize for the ladies so we could keep rolling along.

Below is a quilt my sister-in-law finished at the retreat.  It is the windmill quilt I designed for her 3 years ago and she is just getting the top put together and the borders assembled now.  Love it!

I also got the borders done on Brielle's Braid.  It is ready for basting and quilting.

I also got the binding attached to the barn quilt but it is only half hand stitched down.

My progress is so slow, but I am working on my stashbee block due by the end of the month.  Here are some pieces.

Tonight I am linking up with:

  3. They are all beautiful. For all you have on your plate, you are still progressing. The medallion quilt turned out so gorgeous. I have been waiting all week to see how it turned out. So glad it is all put together. Good luck on getting it quilted and bound. I love your barn quilt binding.
