Deana: Closer but not done yet!

I am making a new post today for the Stash Bee.  I will be participating in 2015 and we have all been summoned to "link up" the projects we are currently working on.  I always have several irons in the fire so bear with me.

First off is my "Sewing Room Delight" quilt.  It  just needs quilting in a few more areas and bound.  I want to enter it in the Blogger's Quilt Festival this week".

You can find the pattern in my Craftsy shop or in my Etsy shop.
You can clearly see the area in the photos below where I still need to fill in quilting.  This quilt is a take off from my "Quilter's Garden" row quilt design that is written about below.

Next is the horse quilt for my son.  I have now squared it off and am ready to add borders.  Sorry my photo is not current but my son is home so I can't get it out for a picture when he is around to see it.  Remember, it is his Christmas.  I have decided to do wider strips in the first border, so I will have to pick out some hand applique' (OUCH!).  The outer ring will overlap a 2" wide blue border on the outside edge.

I am still working on Dear Jane and had hopes of finishing the rows, excluding the borders, by the end of the year.

I still need to baste and quilt Jessi's Medallion.

I also need to finalize my plans for the November row in the "Quilter's Garden".  Remember, you can still join in the fun.  You will receive the current month's pattern for free and all future patterns for free if you make and swap at least one block per month.  Any patterns you missed will have to be purchased (September and soon to be October).

October's blocks are called "Rotaries in Bloom" and must be posted by the last day of October.
September's blocks were sewing machines.  I got this one from my swap partner, Susan.  Isn't it lovely?
You can find the patterns for Jessi's Medallion, the sewing machines, and the rotary cutters in my Craftsy shop or my Etsy shop.

Go check out what the 2015 Stash Bee participants are doing at this link.  You should join us!  Openings are still available.

  4. Your Dear Jane is far more colourful than mine! Sometimes I wish mine had more colour, but I am glad it doesn't - the agonies of deciding which fabric to use in which block would have been greater!
