This is what I woke up to this morning, so thought I would just spend as much of the day as I could, sewing. So I did!
Here is my first completed block on my Briar Rose. I finally figured out where to adjust the tension to be able to applique! YEAH!!!And my March Star Crazy blocks. I am loving these. They work up so quickly. I was able to sew them up in a couple of hours. Of course, it takes almost that long to cut them out.
I am done for the day. Marian leaves for work at 4, and the boys just woke up from their naps.

Your Briar Rose pattern looks really fun. I'm kind of regretting that I didn't join the Star Crazy. I love your blocks and it looks like so much fun to do. I think I did the right thing because I've got to spend my time getting my Dorinda quilt and Shanna's quilt finished before I start something new, but when I see your blocks it really makes me want to make some too.
ReplyDeleteLove your Briar Rose colors. They are so different from mine. Mine are very rich Christmas colors.
ReplyDeleteIt is so wonderful that you could have so much time to yourself today -- congrats!
P.S. My Star Crazy got cut out today.
The pattern will be on-line all year, so if you get to a point you can do one, all you have to do is join and download. It is a really fun project!
