Deana: She has an EYE now

I think my horse's face is beginning to take form now that she has an eye and nostrils.

I am turning the edges under for applique rather than raw edge fusible where possible.  I really favor the crisp turned under look.

Below show's yesterday's photo and what it will look like inside the circle - well, sort of what it will look like.  Use your imagination.

I need to get this horse center done before my son comes home next week so he won't see me working on it.

Linking up with Pretty Bobbin's "I Quilt Thursday".
AND Needle and Thread Thursday.

If you have a minute, check out my Mystery Row Swap that will be starting soon.  It is going to be fun and the quilt is adorable.

Wow, I'm impressed! It really looks like a horse head. Did you make the pattern? I don't think I would have even considered making such a pattern. I would have said "Impossible!". Horses are my favorite animals and I love how you're stitching this head with pieces of fabric. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it!
