15 minutes and To Do Tuesday

15 minutes to stitch update:  my percent is slowly going up now that I have time to sew daily.

To Do Tuesday update

Last week's progress:

1. Finish Esther ✅ DONE

2. Hand applique' some stashbee flower stems ✅ DONE

3. Piece another Celestial Star ✅ DONE

4. Piece two churches for Color my World - ONE IS DONE, the other is nearly done

The unfinished one is laid on top of the finished one to get an idea what it will come out to be.  These are long narrow blocks because they go in the very corners of Color My World houses.

5. Piece two barns for Color My World ✅ DONE

6. Sew up some star blocks that are already cut out for my Crazy Quilty Ladies quilt. ✅ DONE

7. Cut out my Tula Pink Pineapple quilt kit I purchased a year ago.

8.  Bind the two quilts at the quilter if they return to me this week (she is pretty fast). ✅ DONE - note:  only one came back so it is done

9. Make Week 3 Mystery blocks when the pattern is released

Tomorrow's post will show some of those goal finishes, so stay tuned.

This week I hope to:

1. Finish my last church block
2. Make two house blocks
3. Assemble Color My World
4. Make Week 3 Spring Mystery BOM blocks
5. Make Week 4 Spring Mystery BOM blocks
6. Cut out Tula Pink Pineapple quilt kit
7. Piece one Celestial Star
8. Start planning how I want to arrange my Quilty Ladies and what other blocks I want to piece to go with it.

9. Piece my Dollar Building Block BOMs.  I received the fabric yesterday along with the ruler I purchased to make month 2.  The ruler is much larger than I expected it to be.  I am excited to see how they all turn out.

A friend of mine will be leaving in September to do a church mission and has asked that I finish her blocks for her in trade for her making me the machine embroidery blocks for the "Me Without You" quilt.  In this case, I will be piecing 5 Dollar Building blocks each month.

These are the quilt blocks she will embroider for me.  I guess I need to decide on the fabrics soon.

10.  Exercise daily
11.  Quit eating so many sweets

  4. What a great swap of tasks! Wish I'd had the chance at a mission with Paul, but maybe we will in eternity.
