I am ashamed to say that I forgot to take retreat photos. Sorry. I can show you some progress though.
Mom's Lakeshore Hasta progress: I sat right with her and helped her nearly the whole time. It was a joy!
I made four houses.
I began paper piecing these log cabin blocks for Masterpiece Quilt.

Your mom's Lakeshore Hasta is magnificent and I love your houses! Sometimes being present in the moment is more important than taking pictures for posterity (or for your blog). I'm glad you and your mom enjoyed the retreat together.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Lakeshore Hasta is going to be fabulous. The houses are really cute -- is that the pattern where the houses make a circle? I saw a bunch of them at Mid-Atlantic Quilt show several years ago. They all looked slightly different but all really cool. It looks like you got a lot done. I'm looking forward to sewing with my friend from NC soon... ok a couple of months off.
ReplyDeleteYour Mums quilt is going to be stunning. Glad you had a good time. Cute little houses. xx
ReplyDeleteWow! That will be an awesome quilt. Glad you had a great retreat.
ReplyDeleteThree lovely projects! Beautiful fabrics and FPP piecing for the first one, your little houses are going very well, and these log cabins are wonderful with those tiny strips in between.
