Thank you Quilting Jet girl for your annual planning party! I look forward to meeting these 2021 goals!
1. Continue to do my number draw challenge. I won't be hosting a linky this year but will participate in the American Patchwork and Quilting UFO challenge on Facebook. I will also post my goals and progress here on my blog.
2. Continue to participate in Gail's PHD UFO challenge to complete 12 this year and completely finish every new 2021 start. I have come very close every year on this challenge. In 2020 I only finished 10 and had 2 new starts go unfinished. This Sweet and Simple quilt was one. It needs 3 more rows.
3. Try to stay above 85% on my 15 Minutes a day goal hosted by Kate at Life in Pieces.
In 2020 I was at 90%.
4. Sew on a Christmas themed project each month hosted by Lou at Manxgirl Living and Crafting Down Under. I have a Christmas quilt in the works that will be fun to pull out once or twice a month.
5. Assist Mom in making a gorgeous quilt Dad bought her the pattern and fabric for this Christmas. It is an intense Judy Neymeier Ombre Lakeshore Hasta.
6. Join in the design fun with Marian at Seams to be Sew again. This is the quilt I was a designer for this year. I loved it!
7. Participate in the 350 blocks challenge over at Prairie Moon Quilts again this year. Last year I didn't make quite that many because I was machie quilting or assembling other blocks.
Looks like another good quilty year for you. I wish you the best with it. The Christmas quilt is beautiful and the garden quilt is one of the best BOMs I've seen. The hosta is way out of my skill level.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you've got a good plan for the new year and completing projects. I played along with Gail two years ago and it really helped! Happy New Year's Eve. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteWonderful plans for the new year! I am on the FB group too, I hope to see you there!
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive list and good luck on meeting those goals. It was lovely chatting to you earlier on today.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing at finishing, so no doubt you will succeed with your goals
ReplyDeleteAlways so busy! Sometimes it makes me tired though. I love looking at your quilts as they progress and get finished. Blessings in 2021
ReplyDeleteHi Deana, it was so fun to 'meet' you yesterday! I look forward to Zooming with you again. Sounds like you have some great goals for this year.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteLove all your quilts....done or in the works. They will
all be awesome. Have a great day!
Good Goals and question answered about NDC. =) Thank you!
ReplyDeleteGreat list of goals, you seem to be very good at getting them met. It was great to see you at Chookys party.
ReplyDeleteWonderful projects, such great ideas. Was good to see and talk to you at the Zoom party.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! that's a BIG list of projects and I wish you luck with all.
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought about a list at all yet...
Sorry I missed you on Zoom...hope to catch up next time...
Lovely to meet you via Zoom, Deana. Isn't it crazy that it took a quilter/blogger in Australia to introduce two Utah girls to each other. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have amazing projects and are very organized. I am impressed. You will find I am anything but organized. LOL
Looking forward to more visits!
Hi Deana!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're joining in the PHD in 2021. Even though you came close last year - at least you did get 10 UFOs done and off your list! Thats a HUGE accomplishment!
Happy Quilting! :-)
