A couple more rows in the Garden Party Row Along were revealed this week that I have made. Thank you to:
Teresa Weaver at yoursewingfriend.com for this lovely pattern! I love all the intricate details from the turtle in the pond to the birds in the sky and flowers on the horizon! Mine is only fused. I hope to sit and blanket stitch all of my blocks soon. I use my Bernina for that and don't want to drag it out until I am ready for it.
I love the colors used by Teresa better, but I wanted some variety in the background color in my quilt.
I am busily sewing up more rows to prepare for the reveal the middle of October. I am loving this quilt!
1. Complete a flower block for my Garden Party Quilt ✔
2. Do some machine quilting on Trail Mix
3. Finish a paper pieced Row ✔
4. Cut out the Freddies ✔
This week's goals:
1. Some machine quilting on Trail Mix
2. Make a Snail block and two word blocks.
3. Glue baste some applique' leaves
The Garden Party rows are just cuter every time you post them! I really can't wait to see your whole project complete. I guess it's true, the elves don't come in the night and do our piecing and quilting for us, do they? We have to keep plugging along ourselves!
ReplyDeleteThese are darling rows too. Of course, I’m in love with the turtle!
ReplyDeleteThe Garden Party is looking so good!
ReplyDeleteHello! Oh gosh, I love your two rows. I adore the birds on the wire and the lantern row - how fun is that. And the turtle in the pond is also a fun row. Those little mushrooms! Thanks for linking up. ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be one cute quilt when finished. Each row is sooo sweet.
ReplyDeleteThose two rows are so gorgeous, this quilt is going to be amazing when it is done.

ReplyDeleteOH! Such cute rows! I love them! So colorful and cheerful! Those lanterns are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you are loving this row along! The rows are so cute. Thanks for sharing them on Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteThe rows are looking great. That looks like a lot of work in the FPP row. I find machine appliqué very relaxing. It’s worth while having a few blocks ready to go at once to reduce the number of cotton colour changes.
