Zoom sewing party! Love it!

This time I invited my friend, Deb to our Zoom sewing party.  I enjoy hearing everyone's accents, trying to translate Aussie lingo into English, and seeing what everyone is working on.

We ask some ladies to hold up their project or patterns for the camera.

My friend spent the first couple of hours tracing patterns for our Sand Dollar quilt.  She asked me to hand her a pen, so I did.  Well, when it came time for her to iron the freezer paper onto her 7 layer fat quarter pile, we discovered that the pattern disappeared!  I had accidentally given her a heat erase pen.  IT was actually pretty funny!

As a result, I ended up cutting 14 layers deep for her on freezer paper that was pinned on rather than pressed on.  It was a bit wonky but all worked out.  We made a memory!

I lazily sewed on my Sweet and Simple bows, paper pieced a bird, and completely bound my School Kid Barns quilt.

I am linking up today with UFO Busting!
