To Do Tuesday, 350 Blocks Challenge, PHD update, FNWF

I made a To Do Tuesday post last week but forgot to link up.

Last week's Goal Progess:

1.  Some quilting - fail
2.  Cut out a baby quilt for Mom to make at our retreat -
3.  Some Gingerbread House embroidery - fail
4.  Cut some Omigosh pieces and strips - ✔

Funny thing is that I accomplished a ton last week, it just wasn't on my goal list!

This week's goals:

1.  Some quilting
2.  Fuse some Garden Party applique'
3.  Paper Piece some Garden Party
4.  Make some Trail Mix Blocks
5.  Make some Omigosh Blocks
6.  Make some Feathered Goose Blocks
7.  Make some Sweet & Simple Blocks
8.  Baste two Barnyard quilts

This might look like a lot, but I am cut and ready to attend a sewing retreat.  I will bring plenty to do.

June Blocks Made: 60
  • 15 Feathered Goose
  • 23 Trail Mix
  • 1 Garden Friends
  • 3 Walls
  • 6 Poppies
  • 1 Sky Block
  • 1 Blue Flower
  • 3 Barnyard Backing Blocks
  • 7 Arizona Backing Blocks

Total Year to date: 182

My PHD progress might not look so good, but I do have several tops basted that can be quilted by December.

The yellow indicates projects I worked on in June - 9 total!

Yes, I did start two new projects in June, but one is completely cut out and the other is mostly cut out.   I will be working on them at the retreat.  I got a ton done on my Garden Party (secret sewing) that I wish I could show you.

FNWF is this Friday.  Link up and then sew on Friday night.  Post some time over the weekend what you accomplished. I am in!

  6. Hello! I'm sorry you forgot to link up but getting half of your list checked off along with extra stuff is good in my book. You are making a dent in your UFOs AND you get to go to a retreat?!! Sounds heavenly to me. I've never been to a retreat but I am certain I would enjoy it. Thanks for linking up and good luck with that new list. AND most of all, enjoy the retreat and stay safe. ~smile~ Roseanne
