The deer is complete and now joins the others Alaska blocks. One a month is my goal - 5 left to go.

So cute! I have not seen blocks like these before and appreciate seeing something different in animal blocks!
ReplyDeleteI agree. They are very cleaver.. hats off to the designer. We lived in Anchorage for a short time but returned to Maine. Seeing this brings great memories of our stay there. I especially love the deer and the fabric choices you are using.
ReplyDeleteThis is looking so good - great progress!
ReplyDeleteLooking great
ReplyDeleteThat looks great. It feels very “Alaska”!
ReplyDeleteI love your Alaska quilt!! It is going to be beautiful!!! Popping over from My quilt Infatuation.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, these blocks are amazing. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down. I hope you will continue to link up your progress.
ReplyDeleteLove these blocks. Most animal blocks are appliqued, but I really like these pieced.
