On the last day of the month I am sneaking in one more March goal completion. I love having a Saturday to finish off the month. My Pieceful Country is as done as it can be for now. I don't know if I will do more embroidery blocks later or not, and I wouldn't want the only two so close together. That means I am not joining the angel block to the rest until I decide later where this quilt takes me.
I opted for yo-yos instead of applique. They are cute and simple. I also changed the horizontal orientation. I liked the house more in the middle than on the edge where the pattern put it.

I like the border with the Suffolk puffs and the watering can.

ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I love that it is combining so many different techniques. How big will the finished quilt be?
