Deana: One Monthly Goal and others too

May 1st is here!  I am loving it because I am a school teacher and I will soon have long summer days to sew sew sew!

My "One Monthly Goal" is also number 11 on Patchwork Times draw list for May.  I hope to complete my Snowman Embroidery Quilt - quilting, binding and all.

I also like to add my other goals to my list in the same post.  I hope to piece/applique'/quilt/bind a baby quilt for my daughter.  Here are the fabric colors.  She wants jeeps and a the phrase "Born to Crawl".  She is referring to jeep rock crawling.  Here are some photos I found on Pinterest that inspired me.

These are the colors she wants it in.  I have not purchased them yet.

Put a final border on Mom's Quilter's Garden...

Put a final border on Jodi's Lattice...

Quilt Felicity's blue/green quilt...

Prep two Diamond Hill blocks for applique'.  These are the ones that are done/partially done...

Cut out more blocks for my Christmas Log Cabin

Make two receiving blankets - one for Margo and one for Lethi.  They are both having baby girls.  Below is a picture of the fabrics I have selected and a photo of the simple pattern I plan to piece.  (I made one for my daughter's baby out of orange, green, and yellow.)

I will also crochet around the edges like the one in the photo below.

I am linking up with:  Patchwork Times Design Wall Monday, Freemotion by the River, and Quilter's Monday.
