Deana: March goal recap!

March was mad!  I set some worthy goals, but then decided to do some other things instead.  Here is what I hoped to get done and the progress I made/didn't make.

My One Monthly goal was to quilt and bind my Star Crazy quilt. I DIDN'T GET EVEN ONE STITCH IN IT - UGH!

Baste Joann's Sunbonnet Sue - NOT EVEN PRESSED YET!

Quilt this fundraiser quilt for my church.
I DID GET THIS ONE BASTED AND STARTED AT LEAST!

Make, quilt, and bind a cowboy baby quilt for my daughter's baby shower. THIS ONE IS DONE!  Yay!  I didn't get a quilted and bound photo, BUT IT IS DONE!

Quilt Mom's Medallion.  DONE!

Make receiving blankets with burp cloths to match for my daughters' combined shower (two daughters each getting a baby).    I MADE 11 RECEIVING BLANKETS and 26 BURP CLOTHS!  Two of the blankets I crocheted around the edges.  Two blankets didn't even get photographed.  I was just so busy last month.

The two blankets below are the ones I crocheted on.  They were so cute finished that way!  I want to thank all you wonderful bloggers who left suggestions on how to do that.

Here it is with the finished edge:

And here is this one with its finished edge.

My goal was to finish piecing my Christmas log cabin quilt.  I only made progress on 16 more blocks.  It is coming along though.

  2. Wow, Deana! You did get a lot squared away! All the most important things are taken care of. :) I still can't get over how pretty your colorway and fabrics are in your Star Crazy. I'm going to pull my Star Crazy box out and at least get the next batch of HSTs made later this afternoon.
