I got a good start on two of my April goals:
1) Snowman Embroidery: I calculated and cut the blue strips for the border. I believe in giving quilts pieced borders. They just frame the picture so nicely!
2) I got half of the table cloths for the wedding finished. I am putting a see-through black fabric over a silver to create the illusion of charcoal grey. That's the color they want.
Their colors are charcoal grey, mint blue, and a hint of orange. I know the photo below looks like a lot of orange but it just all happens to be together. My daughter's favorite color is orange and her fiance' loves the grey and mint.
Here are the brides maid skirts, tops, and orange belts in a bag. The wedding is the end of May.
I don't expect to accomplish too much until Friday. We all must work in order to play.
