Val's Tuesday Archives has come and the topic is panel quilts. At first I thought I could not participate because I don't do panel quilts. After thinking about it, I realized that I have pieced some quilts using panel fabric. So here are a couple of quilts I made that began with panels.
They are both stack n wack quilts. This is my design and I call it Hexagon Pleasure. You can find the pattern in my

It may look hard but with the use of the Super60 ruler by Sara Nephew, it is a snap and goes together in a 3-4 days. It is so easy in fact that I have made more quilts from this quilt pattern than any other.
This one was made with a border panel. I made this probably 14+ years ago. YIKES! You can see that it is still basted; I need to finish the quilting.

ReplyDeleteVery clever!! I have a stack and whack waiting to be quilted too! Glad the ol' Tuesday ARchives inspired you to rejuvinate this quilt...11 years later!
ReplyDeleteSo much to see as I went back for a second cruise through the post and realized it's been 14 plus years since! Oh my!
