Deana: A few short hours to sew

I have only had a few short hours to sew last night and this morning and I'm off and running elsewhere.

Here is what I've been doing...

I put a better roof on this quilt shop.

I made a better quilt for this quilt shop.

I flipped the windows around on this one to make it better.

As a reminder and for those who have just found it, the Quilter's Garden (quilt shop lane blocks above) pattern for January is FREE if you join and make one block to swap.  If you swap, you get future patterns for FREE as well.  Come and join us even if you are late.  Details are here.

I am also SO EXCITED to have received my fabric from Fort Worth Fabric Studio for the QAL I designed.  I think I am going to call it Braided Log Cabin because an anonymous person commented on my blog and suggested it.  It stuck.  It starts Jan 20th so stay posted for more details.

Here is a photo of what the Braided Log Cabin will look like.

I also got my rotary blocks done but only have one photographed.

Last but not least, I got two blocks cut out for the Stash Bee.  I am in Hive 7 this year and very excited about it.

I am linking up today with:

  2. There are so many wonderful things to see in this post that I don't know where to start. Deana I just love your shop blocks, the rotary cutter blocks and your braided log cabin is beyond amazing! I wish I wasn't up past my ears in other projects, or I would surely join you!

  3. I started my stash bee block today too. It came together better than I hoped. I'll assemble the quarters tomorrow.
    Those shops are still adorable.

  4. WOW, just a few hours can make such a difference!! Everything is just adorable.
Can't wait to get started on the quilt shops.
I leave Wed for IN, but will be ready to go when I get back. I will take pix of that baby in his quilt while I am there, and will post it when I get back.

  5. I do like the altered roof. I'm not sure which quilt shop I like the best, though!
