I just finished my first StashBee block. We are only required to make one but Heather, our Hive Mama for January, made some layout clarifications after a couple of blocks were already done wrong. I wondered if maybe she would need an extra. I say the more blocks the merrier.
Check out the other blocks being made for Heather in Hive 7 over at the StashBee.
I also finished the last quilt shop for the Quilters Garden Mystery. I think it has a lot of character.

I agree - the more the merrier. I made two too.
ReplyDeleteYour StashBee blocks are GORGEOUS! I absolutely love the colours...and you've made me feel great because I just cut a bunch of scraps in the same colours last weekend....now I know what to do with them! Thanks for sharing...

I love this quilt shop! The roof, the little windows and the quilt hanging over the door add so much charm. And the front part of the building, with the slanted roof, makes me think of an old village school converted into a quilt shop. (I saw one on Prince Edward Island, some fifteen years ago. Very charming quilt shop.)
ReplyDeleteI really love the pattern of that house block, and your colors are fantastic. :)
