Dorine: Scrappy Quilt

After I posted the baby quilt, I remembered I had a quilt I finished last fall that didn't get posted.  This one is made from random scraps.  It was really fun to do.  I cut 12 1/2 squares of batting, put a colorful piece of fabric in the middle, then stitched the random scraps on like a log cabin pattern.  With the black strips between the blocks and around the borders, the colorful scraps really show up.  What a fun way to use up all those scraps!
