End of the month and still sewing on goals...

Well, it is the last day of March and I just can't believe it.  The year 2018 is flying with 1st Quarter gone.  I do look so forward to 2nd Quarter though.

This past week I did get my students' barn quilt assembled.  I chose to not put a border on it.  I hope to be able to quilt this one during next quarter.  I also got "Up on the Housetop" quilted and bound and finished paper piecing 4 houses.  I still need 4 more.

Yes, the legs are all 3D.

"Up on the Housetop" was one of my first quarter goals in the 2018 Finish-a-long.  I started it in January and finished it in March.  It was so much fun.  Here is a link back to my original goal post.

I am in love-love-love with the Christmas quilt. :D :D Really great use of motifs in your quilting, the metallics glow, the 3D legs are adorable, and the overall design is just so cute. It almost makes you wish Christmas wasn't so far away to use it, doesn't it? But I can use the rest of the year between there and here. :D Also - the barn quilt is wonderful - the colors work together beautifully.
