Deana: Two Day Cabin Getaway

Mom and I retreated to the cabin for two days and got quite a bit done.

I got my Flowering Snowball top done and nearly finished some old Buggy Barn Star Blocks.

I am linking this post up with Val's Tuesday Archives because today's theme is "Scrappy".  I think both quilts fit that description.  I love "scrappy" quilts but I like them to be color coordinated scrappy.

These blocks just need two more pieces added.  I am very close.

Your flowering snowball quilt is beautiful. I have a flowering snowball quilt that I haven't finished. Seeing yours makes me want to finish mine. Enjoy your quilt.

It is so good to see all those blocks in a finished top! It makes me more excited about my turn next month.

I absolutely love this quilt D!!! How fun for you and your mom to get away like that together. I had three weeks in June with my mom and miss her bunches. Quiet sew days for me knowL:(

I just love how this top is coming together. Now I KNOW I want to make more blocks like this and make one for myself.
