Happy New Year!
Thought I would send you my list of 10!
Complete USA redwork quilt (I have the embroidery done)
Find a colorway in my fabric stash with the most fabric and design and start a quilt in that color using the stash
Find fullest bin in my scrap bins and design and start a quilt using those scraps
Find a ruler in my drawer that I have not used and design and start a quilt using that ruler
Choose a color scheme that is new to me and design and start a quilt in that color scheme
Make a quilt block with a cathedral windows technique (see Today’s Quilter issues from 2024 for reference)
Design a medallion quilt for a center flower embroidery
Figure out how to machine baste a quilt top for hand big stitching. Complete basting and start the big stitching on one quilt.
Declutter quilt supplies and fabrics. Organize and deep clean sewing space
Make a square Japanese rice bag with embroidery elements
Looking forward to participating! When I first read about your 2024 challenge a couple months ago, I numbered my quilt projects that were cut out, but not sewn and started drawing numbers to find the ‘next one to complete’. I’ve completed 4 quilts from that so far and just drew another number today!! 🎉🎉🎉 What a fun way to mix things up!
