It took me a while to finish this block. I must get faster or it's going to take a very long time to finish this quilt. My goal is to make at least 2 blocks per week, but we shall see.
I finished this quilt a few months ago, but I failed to post a photo, so I'm going to do that now. This is one of Deana's beautiful patterns. I quilted it on my domestic machine. I really love this quilt.
Your fabrics and those colors are absolutely stunning! I love it so much. You won't get bored at all with your color scheme, but I might. I love that you chose white background. I know you were leaning toward black last we talked.
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure you made the hardest block in the pile. I skipped it because it looked time consuming. My first one was a lot longer than my second one. I expected the two patterns to have at least the outside rings line up, but they are different. I think I will like it though.
I am so glad you posted your quilt. It was fun to lay them on the bed ext to each other.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, your NYB block looks perfectly square while mine may be a tad bit ski wompus.
It is an amazing quilt. Both of you have done a wonderful job. The different fabrics will produce 2 very different finishes.
ReplyDeleteKeep it up and spur each other on.
Congrats on a gorgeous finish! The NYB block is pretty amazing. Very intricate and so beautifully pieced.
