MARIE: A Finish--My Medallion Quilt is finally complete. Thank you Deana for this wonderful pattern. I had a lot of fun making this quilt.
The back. I used the fabric I had left over after the front was pieced. I kind of like it.
Quilting detail on the back
Now, on to my next project--quilting my Autumn Hues Quilt. I'm still trying to figure out how to quilt this one. I think that I will do something more simple on this one. The Medallion quilt took a very long time!
Marie, I also love how you changed thread color to match the top. I frequently change thread color and allow the back to be whatever it will be. I makes it pretty fun to turn over and see how it turned out particularly when the back is pieced together leftover fabrics. I am surprised that you have been doing that. It makes sense but isn't as neat like I thought you would prefer.
wow marie this quilt is amazing and the colours stunning ,well done .xx
ReplyDeleteThere is a huge amount of quilting on that one. A work of art.
