Laying out my "Up on the Housetop" blocks to test out my black sashing fabric was a lot of fun. I also got the Santa legs and boots cut out. Now to cut out the reindeer legs/hooves and set it all together.
I ordered black buttons for the eyes on Amazon as well as buckles for the santas. They should arrive later in the week.
I would love to have this Christmas top all quilted and bound by the end of April. It will all depend on what UFO number I will be doing for March.
In the photo below, the black fabric is just laid under the rows to test for color. You can see that it isn't wide enough although it gives perspective on what the quilt will look like.
I am itching to start something new so that means I MUST get a finish first.
Today's linky parties are:
BOM's Away
Monday Making
UFO Busting with Tish

ReplyDeleteOh the (legless) Santas lok great with the reindeer!
ReplyDeleteThat is sooo cute.
ReplyDeleteThe end of April seems like a perfectly reasonable goal for a Christmas quilt! 😂
ReplyDeleteOH, those Santas and reindeer are so cute. Can you point me in the direction of the pattern, please? Thanks
