Today I am showing all the figures on the horse quilt - yay! I am getting so close. It took some time to find enough pictures of my son to turn into silhouettes. There are some you think will look good that don't. I only have five more to stitch down. They are the ones on the left side. The last thing I still need to do is piece one more border.
I think I'm loving the way it is turning out!

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazingly creative quilt! Your son will love it (what cowboy wouldn't?) and it should become a family heirloom.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I'll ever get enough of this quilt, Deana! It is fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteDeana, the silhouettes of your son with his horses are just beyond anything anyone could wish for. The quilt top already was a treasure... now it is priceless! You are doing such a breathtaking job with it all!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the way it's turning out too! The figures make an out-of-the-ordinary border. It's like you've made your own printed fabric. I hope the quilt will be treasured. I would treasure it. In fact, I would very much have it on one of my walls... ;-)
