Deana: September Goals Check up

By the way, #1  on last month's goal list is now #1  on my October  goal list.  I am linking up with "A Lovely Year of Finishes" and submitting it (#1 below) as my ONE goal. 

Today's post is a list of the goals I set for the month of September and the final report on them.

1.  Quilt my second Windmill Quilt.  NOT FINISHED

I did not finish the quilting, but I got pretty close.  Here is what it looks like now:

2. Write a pattern for the Windmill Quilt and put it in my Craftsy and Etsy shops.  FINISHED SEPT 25TH.

3.  Quilt Mom's birthday Quilt - FINISHED SEPT 16TH

4.  Finish hand applique on the horse and piece the top of the bed section.

5.  8 Dear Jane - these are the ones on my list.  FINISHED!

I traded out a paper pieced one for the applique' heart block, but I did get 8 done this month.

Below shows my progress on the whole quilt.

6.  Design and pattern the next row in Quilter's Garden

In addition to my goals I also...

...got four more "Good Vibrations" sewing machine blocks completed.  As a reminder,  swap blocks are due the last day of the month.  You can join late but late comers will have to purchase previous month patterns or come up with their own blocks for the rows they missed.  Those who participate by swapping at least one block a month get the patterns for free. Rules can be found here.

I just love these little sewing machines.  I have made way more than I need for the row quilt, but I plan to make a little wall hanging for a friend, the row quilt, and a sampler.  I will be needing several.
