I'm finally getting around to posting my pictures. Above is my Dorinda quilt all pieced and ready to quilt. I finished it May 31st. The colors show up much better than in the picture above. I have it on the frames now and yesterday I started hand quilting it. It's going to take a while to quilt, but it's sure fun to do.
This my "hexagons in rotation" ready to quilt once I finish piecing the back. However, it will have to wait until I get my Dorinda quilt off the frames.
It was a blast making these quilts. I loved our retreat and can't wait to do it again. Thanks Deana for all your work, and for making up this wonderful pattern and sharing with us. Thanks to all of you for the yummy food and your fun personalities.
By the way, my dear hubby had a great time on his fishing trip. I'm sure he enjoyed it more than hanging around our quilt retreat. Between the five of them they caught about 100 fish very nice big fish, but only brought a total of 6 home and released the rest.
They are both beautiful. Your workmanship is really amazing. Taking your time to do it right really makes an added difference.
