One Monthly Goal

July One Monthly Goal: (didn't get it linked up in time)

Yes, I did it!  Color My World is complete with binding and hanging sleeve!  I absolutely love it!!!  My quilt fairy really embellished it with beautiful free motion stitching!

Here is a link back to my original One Monthly Goal Post.

August's One Monthly Goal:

Getting all of the hanging sleeves on my finished quilts is my goal for August.  They are pinned and ready for the machine, and some of them will need to be hand stitched on the other side.

In the stack you will find  Garden Party, Halloween Round Robin, Feathered Goose, Quilter's Garden, Masterpiece, and Windmill awaiting their turn at the machine and calendar.

In addition to my One Monthly Goal, I also hope to:

  • Make a couple of pop up bins
  • Bind two quilts when they return from the quilter
  • Get all of the applique' done on my Laundry Basket Mystery Quilt
  • Make the remaining four Celestial Star Blocks
  • Cut out some quilts that I plan to make in the near future

  5. Fabulous finish, beautiful quilting. I hope you are keeping this one! The August goal is great, too. I need a month where I do that or labels, either one.

  11. I've finally had a chance to catch up on your blog. You have had such a fun and productive time over the summer. Color My World looks fabulous and your LBQ Mystery Quilt looks so fun and very different to mine. I can't believe how much stitching you have achieved while still spending such great times with your family. The scenery around your neck of the woods is beautiful and such a great place to go camping and hiking with the kids. It was fun to finally catch up on Zoom the other day. Enjoy the rest of your break while it lasts.

  15. That wall hanging turned out fantastic! Yours is the second blog post I’m reading tonight that mentions putting on quilt sleeves. The Universe might be trying to tell me something, because I’ve been doing some SERIOUS procrastinating over making a quilt sleeve for my Christmas quilt and the holidays sneak up on me a little bit faster every year…
