I Like Thursday #16

I Like Thursday is here once again.  It gives me the opportunity to post some happy thoughts from my previous week.  Thank you Leeanna for the weekly "I Like Thursday" adventures.  Check out others positive posts here.

I like spending time with Family and getting the tree.  We always go cut a tree, and we take the horses.  There was no snow this year (frowny face).  In fact, we overdressed and got hot.

We came back to the house after for soup, homemade rolls, and crafting.  We put up the tree, drank home made hot cyder, and listened to Christmas music.  It was fantastic.  I made the snowman candle, and my daughter made the rock nativity.

Oh, and an announcement was made that we will be getting our 7th grand in 2021.  Wowzer!  Seven in 4 years.  They have multiplied quickly and I love it!

  1. Cutting a real tree brings back lots of memories! Congratulations on the newest addition! Seven grands! How wonderful! We have 4 grownup grandchildren and now 4 great grands with the possibility of a couple more, our youngest granddaughter is newly engaged, no wedding plans, due to COVID. But it will happen.

  2. What a fun day that looks like! It has been warm here on the other side of the Rockies, too, but snow coming in tonight. Maybe we'll share some with you! Congratulations on the new grandbaby coming along!

  3. Wow. No. 7 .. The twins are adorable. They look so well.
Love the nativity scene tray. That is a clever idea using pebbles.
    Hope you are doing well.

  4. Looks like a great day 8ut getting g the tree on horses would be something special, then coming home and spending time together is lovely. Congratulations on the new grandchild coming.

  5. What a wonderful way to start Christmas celebrations...
Congrats on fantastic news about the new baby...
    Merry Christmas xox

  6. Love, love, LOVE the photos! How cool that you can go on horseback to cut down your tree. It looks like a fabulous time was had by all after the fact. Congrats on the soon-to-be #7. How exciting! ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. Looks like getting a tree is an adventure. What fun! That rock nativity is cool. That's a lot of grandkids in a short time. They'll run like a pack as they get older (I was envious of my younger cousins that did that).

  8. Love the nativity tray, and congratulations on number 7 next year, those twins look as though they are doing well now.

  9. Such a fun way to get your Christmas 🎄 and spend time crafting too.
Great photos of the little ones.
The sick twin looks like he’s caught up to his brother.

  10. Such a fun post and I love the picture of the twins. They look like they are thriving! And congratulations on the upcoming grandbaby!

  11. What a fun way to lead into Christmas.

And I see the twins are home - I remember one zoom meeting and they were still in hospital...
