It is the end of January and I am happy to report that I completed my UFO NDC (number draw challenge) barely a day early!
The number drawn was 10. My number 10 was to make these memory round robin blocks into a top. DONE! YAY! I am so pleased with how this little number turned out after so many years on the UFO list. It is bright, happy, and full of memories of quilt friends past and present.
This was also my One Monthly Goal. Go check out the finishes linky party! Here is a link back to my goal from the first of the month.
I also have another complete finish. My Periwinkle family round robin quilt is bound, rolled up, and placed inside my new quilt cabinet. This is my first complete finish of the year, and I have not started any new projects. I am off to a great start in 2020 toward earning my PHD!
I only just realized that I have been sewing on a couple of bright quilts for January. I guess they carried me through those dreary, cold, winter days.
Please check out these wonderful blogs and the other quilters who link up there! I try to visit them weekly.
How did you do on your UFO NDC? Did you finish your goal or make progress on it? Please link up to share your progress, finished or not.
Also, I will add the February number to a post on the first. It will link you back to here. You can use this same linky party to post your February project goal. You can link up two posts (Jan finish and Feb goal) or combine them into one. It is your choice. New to the challenge? You can join in late. This post will explain the details. You can link up your list there.
YOU did a great job in January! I like both the finish and the top. They probably did help get through the dark days. =) I didn't do so well, for a number of reasons, but I'll come back to it. Waiting for the next number to come up! =)
ReplyDeleteI missed it by a day!! I had to order fabric to get my Frolic top bordered and it came yesterday, but I was just to tired to mess with it. So I will post my blog entry on Monday. Now to see what #8 is!!!
