Deana: working on a mystery and quilting a quilt

I have been cutting and sewing a bit on our family mystery.  I am the only one who knows what we are making, but the sisters are guessing the best they can.  I am making two quilts out of this pattern as per the photos below.

I am basting this one to quilt next.

Deana: A finish and two starts

I know,  I should have a finish for every start so I am down one.  This year we changed the family round robin to a mystery instead.  We are each supposed to make five 10" blocks of our choice to start.   I am making the mystery out of brights and also out of country tones.

I also finished the machine quilting on Mom's Pinwill.
