I hope to start quilting another quilt soon so that I can remember what I have learned and practice. Since I have 3 or 4 quilt tops ready to quilt I won't have any trouble finding something to work on.

MARIE: Finally finished my "Roses" quilt.
I am so happy to finish this quilt that I started way too long ago. This is the first large quilt that I have quilted on my home sewing machine. I have seen the beautiful work that Deana does and it gives me inspiration, but I am very inexperienced. It was fun to do, but there were some challenges from my inexperience and I learned a lot and would change several things that I did.

Marie: My "Roses" quilt top finished---finally!
It has taken me a long time to piece this quilt top, but it is finally finished. I fell in love with this fabric, and I pieced the kaleidoscope blocks some time ago, but I kept putting it away to work on other projects. I made the pattern up as I went, so it has been a challenge for me, but a fun challenge. It looks fairly simple to do, but the measurements were tricky for me.
The pictures do not do it justice. I would like to photograph it outside, but alas, it is snowing so that is out of the question. Maybe I can get a better picture once it is quilted.
