Here is a fun, scrappy quilt. I could also use my 2 1/2" strips for this.

I am collecting ideas for my 2 1/2" strips I won from the Brown Bag Swap a couple of years ago.

Pattern for those 3" strips I won
I am wondering if I could make these beautiful lone stars out of those 2 1/2" strips I won? The quilting is beautiful too.

Last week's projects...dj
I finished another snowman block from my Crab Apple Hil snowman pattern. I am pretty behind on this projet because I hoped to have had the embroidery completed before the end of the year. I 'm only a little over halfway. I truly LOVE this pattern, though. I had to piece the corner on because my background fabric was funny shaped. I felt this fabric was perfect for this quilt but didn't have a piece quite the right size. That's ok because I know how to piece. (ha ha)
I've been following the block lotto for awhile. I really liked the quilt they were doing this time so I decided to make a few. The rules were to make an 8" block from white on white and purple fabrics then add strips to the sides to turn it on point. They made up really fast and were fun. I foundation pieced the square in a square blocks.
