Well, another month has come and gone in 2026. How did you do on your April challenge? I hope you did better than me. I was gone overseas for a trip and didn't even start my goal. Perhaps I'll catch up later in the year.
The number for May is #1.
For me it is to hopefully complete my Aurora quilt top. This would have been done a year ago except my daughter wants it and needs it to be king sized for her bed. I need to make more than double the blocks and cannot find the background fabric anywhere online. I did find it in flannel. I may have to make half the blocks from flannel.

Hope you've found a good alternative for the background. Good luck with your challenge for the month.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection of blocks. I hope you find something that will work for the extras.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the #1 Deana. That one has been on my list since I started Chookshed Challenges. I wonder if I'll get it done this time?
ReplyDeleteWhoo Hoo - an easy one for me!
ReplyDeleteCould you find something similar - maybe slightly lighter and put the dark ones in the centre and then surround them with the lighter ones...(or vice versa of course)
I love those blocks - going to be a gorgeous quilt. Thanks Deana - must get my post done and linked. xx
ReplyDeleteI haven’t done a post yet but it will happen. I haven’t caught up . Those blocks look nice and big
