How did your February sewing goals work out? Mine went well.
I managed to get my #8 top done minus the border. These Kaffe prints have a border print that goes with them. I know because I happened to have only 1 yard of it. I ordered more and await its arrival.
It feels good to have another UFO nearly finished! This was a mystery quilt made a few years ago. I signed up to make 4 of them. One is done, another is at the quilters, and the other needs to be assembled.
NOW FOR THE NEW NUMBER. DRUM ROLL, PLEASE...
The number for March is 2! My number 2 is to make a bag. That is perfect because I have three in the works.
What else did I get done in February? Quite a bit, actually. I prepared some Let's Bake blocks for applique and stitching. The hand mixer and kitchen scale are ready to take to Baradine. I love this quilt.

It is always a treat to visit your blog and see your gorgeous work. SHB looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteYour Sydney harbour bridge is looking great. Glad you are getting organised for Baradine. Can’t wait. My # 2 is some braid placemats. I seem to be on a roll with braids atm.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt top looks great Deana. And I love how the bridge has come along. xx
ReplyDeleteYou did get a lot done. Finishing off those UFOs feels so good. Sounds like you'll have lots to feel good about in March.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flimsy nearly complete.
ReplyDeleteLots of great blocks to take to Baradine.
The Sydney Harbour bridge is fantastic.
You really did accomplish a lot this month. Your blocks are so cute. Some of those Kaffe blocks are so detailed. The tractor with buttons will be so fun too.
ReplyDeleteLove your Sydney Harbour Bridge, perfect fabric for the border! Great to see lots prepped for Baradine. Well done on the progress with your quilt top.
ReplyDeleteVery cute kitchen blocks!
ReplyDeleteYour Sydney Harbor piece is beautiful, and brings back lots of memories of cruising under it last year.
So much fun! Definitely jealous of your trip to Baradine.
ReplyDeleteI love all your work Deana. What a pity your number draws never match my number thoughts. But I have got things ready for Baradine. I look forward to seeing you there.
ReplyDeleteYou’re going great fun’s getting your sampler quilts done. I can’t get over how different the pattern looks in the different fabrics. Your interpretation of the Harbour Bridge is outstanding. I’m blown away by it.
ReplyDeleteI love the Sydney Harbour Bridge
ReplyDeleteYour appliqué is always so delightful! Is Baradine a retreat? At first when I read that you had gotten things "ready for Baradine," I thought Baradine might be the name of your long arm quilter -- but then I read in the comments that Ma Betty is "looking forward to seeing you there." I hope you have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks great Deana. So does your Sydney Harbour bridge. Your Let's bake blocks look great. I always wanted to make that quilt. I have the pattern but didn't get around to buying the shapes templates. Looking forward to meeting you in person at Scrub Stitchin'.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have been so busy. Love your finished top. The Sydney Harbour bridge looks fantastic.
