Wowzer!!! I was super busy getting things made for Christmas. They did get done and were so worth the time, but I am behind on reading blogs. I miss you all.
Here it is...
Chookshed Challenge 2025 badge
If you would like to join, make a list of ten sewing related items or goals you want to work on in 2025, and post it to your blog on or before January 1st. You can join late, but the first number will be posted January 1st. Each month, January through October, I will draw a number. That will be the number from our list we all work on together in blogland. Blog your progress through the month to keep us all motivated. No blog? That is ok, I would love to have you email your list and monthly progress to me. It will help us to cheer you on.
- finish a project (name the project or not)
- work on a project (name the project or not)
- make a block
- start a new project - can be open to any new start

I have attached a linky below so we can see all of your exciting 2025 sewing expectations. I am off to check out my favorite blogs to try to align some of my goals with friends. It is fun to have a "buddy project".
Here is my list:
After much thought, I have finally decided on my list. Here it goes...
1. Christmas Stitchery (Gingerbread Houses) - whatever I can stitch in a month's time
2. Quilted Witch - top done
3. Sashiko - My first EVER. I don't even know how or what yet.
4. Scrappy Braids RR - finished top
only one row is sewn together
The layout is chosen.
5. Cut Jewel of the Caribbean setting blocks
I plan to set it together like this.
6. Auzzie/New Zealand Quilt Progress
7. Foundation Paper Piecing (likely Vesta and/or Princess quilt) - progress only
Here are some vesta progress photos. Only four rows were done, and the little applique' circles are only glue basted. I love this quilt, but it will take some time and effort to finish.
8. Canadian Chris Quilt (progress only) - calling it that because the red reminds of of Canada, Chris is from there, and she gave it to me.
9. Fishy Business - top done
They are over the top of the witch quilt.
10. Wonky Houses and Nutmeg progress - one of those tops done
