2019 in review

Goodbye 2019.....

I quilted the same in 2020 as always, but I finished less. That is because I did some intricate piecing that took a ton of time.  I loved it!

BLOCKS OF THE MONTH:
I sewed several self created blocks of the month including:

Disney Princesses

Alaska Blocks

Christmas Row Quilt

Two Barnyard Quilts

New York Beauty - all blocks are done

I just finished the last two blocks for my NYB quilt today.

Feathered Goose: (The Eagle is not included)

Turkey Quilt

MOVED:
I moved my sewing room from the grungy basement to a room upstairs.

FINISHES:
I had only a few finishes besides the Sliced Snow Globe and Quilter's Garden shown in this previous post.  They were all bags.  I don't feel bad about this because I did some pretty intricate piecing in my blocks of the month projects.

FAMILY:
We got the cutest little grandbaby this year.  He is such a joy.

We now have four and we will be getting two more in 2020 - TWINS!  The grands range from ages 2 to 5 months old.

My niece had a baby

Son and his cousin

The cousin was in a construction accident last August and nearly lost his foot.  He is still limping around and has many months of recovery left, but is doing so much better.  We are thankful.

I am linking up with Design Wall Monday.

If you happen to be in need of a UFO progress help group, join the UFO NDC (Number Draw Challenge) linky each month.  You get to pick your own goals meaning they don't have to be complete finishes.

  2. Love your intricate pieced blocks, those do take a lot longer to do than normal blocks. Looking forward to seeing the finish of those projects. You have a lovely family. Looks like you had a great holiday.

  3. Wow, what can I say--all your projects are so breathtaking and intricate! And I know from experience how much work bags can be. But the grands stole the show!!! Love their photos! Wonderful.
