Granny Went Star Crazy is quilted!

Oh does it ever feel good to have another quilt so close to finished!   I did basic outline quilting and not much else.  It really didn't need more and the quilting could not really be seen anyway with the busy fabrics.  The binding is attached by machine and just needs the hand stitching on the other side.

I have some Crab Apple Hill embroidery patterns I want to make and loved this tutorial on how to do the coloring with it.  I wanted to share the link.

This is beautiful! I love the repeated fabric borders and the pieced borders. Lovely design choices!

Very nice! And certainly no need to do lavish quilting if it can't be seen. Looks terrific!

Sheer perfection! First, those points are perfect. But the thing that struck me most was the fabrics and the distribution of color and pattern throughout the quilt. You're right, you don't want or need quilting to compete with this. Congrats on a great finish! Thanks for linking to Wednesday Wait Loss.
