Moda Love Show N Tell
Scrub Stitchin' typically has an optional quilt some of them make at retreat. These ladies ended up making this year's Moda Love Quilt. There may have been more, but these are the photos I was able to get. It is a joy for quilters to see the exact same quilt pattern made in different color ways.
Raewyn and Susan
For show n tell night it had grown into this...
Jo made hers small.
After browsing blog posts, I discovered that Jude also made these moda love blocks that she has turned into a rectangular quilt since arriving back home.
This was last year's optional quilt called Twister. Some brought their finished ones to show and Helen actually made hers at this year's retreat. I think the one below was Chooky's. There was one in greens displayed on the wall that was made by Jenny.
Jules Twister
Chooky and Diane assisted Helen in making a twister quilt top while at retreat. It was fun to watch it turn from a quilt of squres into this.
Well done on putting names to all the faces!! Love seeing all the quilts in all the posts with different wording!!
ReplyDeleteI need to go back and name my photos..... It will happen just didn't in time for the posts...... Yes that's my twister quilt...... And the green one on the wall was Jenny's. It was Diane now Lianne helping Helen with me........
ReplyDeleteThe Moda Love quilts turned out beautifully. That's one of the fun of a class, you get to see the same pattern in different fabrics.
ReplyDeleteSo many happy smiling faces. Lovely to see the Moda love projects.
