Scrub Stitchin' party night - post #3

Why are we out and about and away from our sewing machines?  Well, it was trouble for us if we went inside - that's why.  We also had to get dressed up in COSTUMES for the themed dinner night.

That Chooky girl kicked us all out of Scrub Stitchin' so she could create this...

 

Thanks Chooky for a fandabulous Australian dressup party!  I loved entering the sewing room with the sounds of everyone singing "G'day G'day" along with Slim Dusty.

Takin' a walk along the street

Lookin' in shops or buyin' a paper

Stoppin' and havin' a yarn with people that you meet

What does Australia mean to you?  The answer is in the costume.

Kylie's skirt was made out of Aussie tea towels.  She made fun of it, but I actually really loved it.
