2019 Quilt Goals

There are several quilts I wish to make this year, so I decided to do them as Blocks of the Month.  Check out my "Create Your Own Block of the Month" page!  Join in if you like.

It is once again the time of year to organize my quilting goals.  This post primarily addresses those goals and specifically lists them to fit Judy's UFO Challenge.  Each month Judy at Patchwork times draws a number, and that is the number participants work on for that month.  The following is my 2019 UFO challenge list.

1.  Block Lotto Win - complete finish!  It needs a back made for it, quilted, and bound.

2.  Periwinkle -  complete finish!  It needs the back pieced, quilted, and bound.

3. Dear Jane - complete finish!  It needs quilted and bound.  It is already basted.

4. Sliced Snow Globe - complete finish!

5. Justin's Medallion - complete finish!

6. Quilt and bind one of my barnyard quilts after it is pieced.
This one is from country fabrics.

This one is from Batiks.

7. Mom's Quilter's Garden - quilt and attach the binding for her

8. 2018 Family Round Robin Quilt that I have not yet seen - complete finish!  This quilt is a complete mystery to me other than I sent my own fabric off to the group.

9. Diamond Hill & Turkeys - The month this number is drawn I will glue baste the last border for applique'.  I will only do hand applique' on road trips where I have no access to a machine, so this one may or may not get hand stitched this year.

I also want to finish the top for my Turkey quilt and get it basted.

10. Black RR and Orange/green RR - assemble the tops and plan borders

The last two will have to be done in November and December because the blocks will not be made until then.

11.  Frog Quilt and School Kid Barn Quilt - complete finish!

12. Quilt and bind the Alaska and Turkey quilts

PHD Challenge:  finish everything I start in 2019 and completely finish 12 UFOs.

In addition to those I have:

The NY Beauty (one block is done),

Feathered Goose (one block is done),

and Disney Princess.  You can begin to see Princess Ariel's face that I have started on.

I may also Quilt and attach binding for Felicity's Log Cabin Star Quilt.

I am linking up with Scrap Happy Saturday!
