Family Round Robin

I just completed my round robin for August.  I will be passing this to someone else to add to at my family reunion this weekend.

I really enjoy getting a new quilt in the mail each month to work on and then passing it on to someone else to finish.  We kit them so they are cut and ready to sew.  They come back a finished top minus borders.  I like that rule because these quilts actually get finished.

  2. Love this quilt! Whoever ends up with it will surely be pleased. I'm curious as to how this family round robin works. I'm guessing you all chose a quilt you want made, cut up the fabrics, then send them off to the first person in line? Does each person then sew a row, add it to the quilt and send it on? Sounds like a great plan! How many participate?

As you can see, I'm a curious person. Thanks for sharing this on Wednesday Wait Loss.

  3. That's a great quilt. The colors look wonderful together. I know I'd love it if it were mine.
