Last week I was able to go with my husband on a jeep trip. We were the only Toyota with a bunch of jeeps, but they seemed to accept us anyway. My county is so beautiful!
Beautiful skies graced us early in the day followed by heavy snow on top of the mountain mid day. The truck got its first 2021 mud bath. We did have to drive through a river.
I woke up to this yesterday. We need the moisture in our mountains so bad. I am thankful for it!

ReplyDeleteMy husband has been saying that he wants a Jeep for years (decades!). I didn't know that Jeep trips like this were a thing! Didn't know you could drive through a river or anything like that -- I usually see teenage boys driving around in Jeeps where we live, so I always thought my husband saying he wanted a Jeep was just him saying he wished he was 17 again. :-). Looks like you had a wonderful trip! The snow is so beautiful, isn't it? We haven't gotten a single snowflake this year in Charlotte, NC, although my son got some at school in Boone.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great trip and what landscape! It reminds me of youtube videos hubby watches of Winder towing company in Utah...they have to tow folks out of some really muddy messes.
