Weekend progress, 15 Minutes, and cookies (biscuits if you are in Australia)

Hello blog friends.  How did the weekend treat you?  Mine was pretty good!

Two days of zoom party didn't yield as much sewing as it should have but I made these blocks for my Trail Mix quilt.

I also made a few partial blocks for my Feathered Goose.  The plan is to do opposite corners red and the other two yellow.

Here is a close up of the corners.

I also got my Arizona quilt basted earlier in the weekend.

At the Chookyblue  birthday party I baked some cookies and showed the group online what they looked like.  We then proceeded to discuss recipes.  Here is my Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:

1 Cup white sugar
1 pound butter
2 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
3 eggs
2 Tbsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp soda
1 scant tsp salt
6 Cups flour (scant)
1 1/2 Cups oatmeal (if desired but not necessary)
1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips (or whatever kind you favor)

Cream together sugars and butter.  Blend in eggs.  Add vanilla, soda, and salt.  Blend in flour 1 cup at a time.  Add oatmeal and chocolate chips.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
